It really depends on where you are located, There should be a flat rate fee. Or a charge by the hr. On some auto’s the inside door panel will have to be removed to gain access to inside of the door. There should be 3 or more nuts holding the mirror in place. simply just tighten them up. On the other hand if your mirror is loose (not the whole assembly but just the glass mirror inside) usually there will be some plastic retainers that hold it in place. And if broken. the entire mirror will have to be replaced. This is fairly easy to fix , so if you decide to repair it yourself, be careful removing the door panel . there should be a few screws to remove the armrest, you may have to remove the door lock knob, there is plastic clips that hold the door panel on so be careful prying them out with a proper tool or flat screw driver. Once the panel is loose simply lift the panel up there is a channel that runs along the top edge of this panel that will slide up off of the top edge of the door.If you have window, mirror, or speaker wires inside this panel, be sure to unplug them. I recomend having a dealer take a look at it for an estimate. if it has to be replaced go to the parts department or a auto parts store and purchase the mirror yourself and then take it to the repair shop for them to install. The part sometimes is cheaper than the dealers. Good Luck
