How do you take mirror pictures with a digital camera?

I keep trying to perfect a mirror pic but it keeps coming out with the flash. But when I turn the flash off, the picture is dark and blurry, I have a kodak digital camera, so any ideas?

Be sure the lights are on in front and behind you to give a good light exposure.

Unless you’re trying to take a picture of yourself, you might try standing at an angle to the mirror, so that you can compose the shot with you and the camera not visible.

You can also try taking a single layer of toilet paper and putting it over the flash. This will work as a diffuser to soften the flash glare.

    1) Smash your Kodak camera into bits. I had one, I was glad when it finally broke.

    2) In the menu increase the ISO Speed to 200 or 400. (This may make your image a little grainy since once again, Kodak cameras suck.)

    3) Make sure there is good lighting in the room so the camera can choose a faster shutter speed.
